Special Education Program

Behaviour and Learning Assistance 

This program assists students with severe behaviour disabilities.  Programming focuses on helping students make academic gains, learn socially appropriate behavior and develop appropriate social skills in the classroom and community.  Our TEAM 8 (grade 1, 2), TEAM 10 (grade 3,4) and TEAM 11 (grade 5,6) classes have a limited number of students, and have the support of both a teacher and an educational assistant. Students in these classes are given opportunities to be included in all school wide events, and when appropriate, are included in regular classroom learning activities.
