Registration

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, Gold Bar School is full in planned classes in Grades 1 to 3 in the regular program. We will now only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 3 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.

KINDERGARTEN OPEN HOUSE - February 11, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - 2025-2026

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. 

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL - 2025-2026

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens February 3.  If you have questions about registering for school, contact the school office.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must  register online.  

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR CHILDREN NEW TO EDMONTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS:

STEP 1 - Complete the digital student registration form

STEP 2 - Provide legal proof of the student's name, citizenship and birthdate (see below for examples)

STEP 3 - Provide 3 pieces of address verification for the student's parent/guardian (see below for examples)

STEP 4 - A member from our admin team will get in touch with you via email to confirm your registration

 *Examples of Legal Proof of a Student's Name

  • Canadian Provincial Birth Certificate
  • Canadian Citizenship Document
  • Canadian Passport
  • Canadian Permanent Resident Card

  *Address Verification (please provide the following)

  • Valid Driver's License OR vehicle registration (MUST be current living address)
  • Lease Agreement, Rental Agreement OR Purchase Agreement (MUST have already moved to the address.  Future possession is not valid for registration purposes)
  • Utility Bill, Property Tax Bill OR Phone Bill
